The winery
Maisu Txakolina
Gure Ahaleginak is a family winery located in a beautiful location (formerly known as the “Winery Route”) surrounded by its own vineyards which are equipped with anti-frost systems for both spraying and aeration given that Orduña, the only City in the Señorío de Bizkaia, is located at an altitude of 314 m., which influences its climate: sunny days that are not excessively hot and cool nights.
Orduña is located in the depression formed by the Nervión riverbed. Deep soils make our vineyards produce harmoniously acidic and sugary musts. Aromatic and gustatory substances with a pleasant perception in the mouth. It produces a full-bodied and excellent quality txakoli made with grapes from the family vineyard, so the entire process is carried out without leaving the property.

A principios de los años 90 empezó con un sueño que no era otro que el de crear un gran txakoli y poder vivir de ello. Casi 40 años después sigue apoyando y aportando sabiduría a nuestro proyecto, es el claro ejemplo de que con constancia las cosas se consiguen.
